Adding Reminders to Outlook Emails (My favourite keyboard shortcut)

By: standss , Jun 10th, 2010

I am not a big user of keyboard shortcuts but I do use this when I want to add a flag or reminder to an email

  1. Select the email.
  2. Press CTRL-SHIFT-G to display the Custom Flagging screen.

I find this keyboard shortcut much easier to use then either finding the appropriate button to click on the ribbon or even right-clicking.

  1. Thank you so much for giving everyone an exceptionally pleasant chance to read in detail from this website. It is always very beneficial and also full of a good time for me personally and my office fellow workers to search your web site not less than three times a week to read through the fresh items you have got. And definitely, we are certainly motivated with all the amazing strategies you give. Certain 1 tips on this page are without a doubt the very best we’ve ever had.

  2. Ironically, I can use the keyboard shortcut and get the option to click on a date and time to set a reminder, but it doesn’t seem to work. And, clicking Follow Up on the ribbon only lets me click a flag but I can’t set a date and time. What am I missing?
