[Outlook] Sending personalized holiday invites and emails

By: Standss Contributor , Dec 8th, 2020

Do you need to send out holiday invites, news, or promotions to friends, colleagues, or customers?

We would like to share two popular posts on our blog with step-by-step instructions for doing this from Outlook.

The end of year is an exciting time of the year.

You are probably emailing friends, business contacts and family… to say thank you, to invite them to parties… even market your special holiday offers…

… and in most cases, it means sending the same email (with a little bit of personalization) to many different people.

The process of sending the same email to many people is called mail merge (or email merge in this case). This is an automated process that takes ONE email (let’s call this the template) … and a list of people (your mailing list) …. and then sends a personalized copy of the email to each person on the list.

The following blog posts will help you with merging out your holiday emails:

How to Email Merge from Excel and Outlook: Use this post to create your Christmas mailing list in Excel and then use Outlook to send a copy of your Christmas email to each name on the list.

Holiday Email Templates: Download 5 professionally designed templates that you can use for email merging this year. The templates are responsive so they will look great on computers and mobile devices.

We hope that that you find the linked posts on Email Merging useful for your business this holiday season.
